Brief

Designing a logo, basic brand, web presence and print advertising for the event - Blitz Ball 2017.  Aimed at young professionals and students.

Solution

Creating a brand that celebrates the era of the 1940’s whilst navigating the sensitive issue of the history of the blitz. We focused on the fashion imagery of the military and design style of that age. The logo was designed using a modernised style of the typography of the era, and the imagery of the ‘British reply’ of the spitfire. Risky and memorable. Running a photoshoot for models for the print design.
